This is often the first question asked by a property owner considering whether to sell their property. To find the answer, the owner may look on the internet at agents' property listings to check prices, and then perhaps call an agent… but the agent may know the prices of his own listings and maybe the prices of properties listed by two or three other agents which all-together may comprise 15-20% of the total of similar properties listed...but not ALL of the similar properties listed in the whole market....  These were the normal steps before the digital era.
