The first place a property buyer, investor, or owner looks to find information, or to  check for information previously received from other sources,  is the internet. In the early days of the internet, a very high proportion of the information about property in Turkiye (Turkey) was correct and accurate.

 

Now twenty years later, after the internet became a key source of information, a very high proportion of information about buying property in Turkiye is no longer accurate nor correct. This is a disturbing trend. The evidence of this trend was revealed in a recent research survey by independent professional experts of the most frequently used search terms related to various aspects of buying property in Turkiye.  The results are quite astonishing. The highest ranked search entries (those that a searcher sees at the top of the first page) contained factually incorrect and inaccurate information.
