The President of the Republic of Turkey has mentioned that it would be preferable for holiday home rentals to be priced in Turkish Lira, and the income to be held in Turkish Lira. If you have been advertising and renting your property in EUR or GBP Sterling, the rates should be now priced and advertised in Turkish Lira.
This measure is now mandated in law, to support the Turkish economy and the Turkish Lira.
This presents two issues:
a)Contract issues…
b) Exchange rate issues.
